The task
I amplified the new ITV7 brand through bold typography and dramatic perspectives that pull the audience into the heart of the festival, in short: 'Selfie Mode' – helping the sport feel more modern, vibrant and accessible to a new generation of fans.

THIS CHELTENHAM MARKED A NEW ERA FOR ITV7…
The objective is to bring in a younger audience to ITV7 (and in turn racing), acquiring new customers at scale and driving value to Sky Bet. — racing’s biggest and most electrifying stage.
I was very excited to led the creative campaign and art direction for ITV7’s Cheltenham launch, marking the debut of the newly rebranded ITV7 platform.

Golden accents
I wanted to make Cheltenham feel distinct from the other campaign offers, so by applying a gold finish to the to the ITV7 lockup and a bespoke Cheltenham banner at the top for announcements —creating a premium, celebratory feel
How do you take selfies with the perfect view of the racecourse and the jockeys?
You’ll need more than good luck with the weather — and a very big budget.
We needed to shoot both campaign and BAU visuals for the entire year in just one day, so Virtual Production seemed like the perfect solution. We shot talent in front of VP screens to bring this one to life, and help immerse the audience in the Cheltenham atmosphere.
